WHO WEARE

Patients for Patient Safety Network – Asia Pacific (PFPSN–AP) is a regional platform of patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and civil society organizations working together to make healthcare safer for everyone.

We were born out of a shared conviction: that patients and families must be active partners in shaping healthcare. Since our inception in November 2021, we have been aligning our work with the WHO Global Patient Safety Action Plan (GPSAP) 2021–2030, especially Objective 4: Engage and empower patients and families in safety.

WHAT DRIVES US
What Drives Us

We believe that:

  • Patients are partners, not passive recipients.
  • Every voice counts — from rural communities to global platforms.
  • Change is possible when patients, families, healthcare providers, policymakers, and civil society work hand-in-hand.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every patient in the Asia-Pacific region receives safe, dignified, and respectful care.
